Can you imagine a world without Dads? I sure can't. Most students have a Dad or Dad-like person in their lives. I am so fortunate to have my biological dad. He is always there, helps me with my homework, and is my personal chauffeur.
When I am feeling down, my dad somehow knows. He comes to me and asks, "What's wrong?” Even when I say, “Nothing,” he still knows. Then he’ll say, "You can tell me anything." It is a comfort to know that he cares.
Dad is like a magician with math. He knows all the math tricks! When I ask him for help with a math problem, he says, "O.K. read me the problem." Afterwards, he explains to me how to do the problem. ABRA-KA-DA-BRA! I get it right!
It's no fun walking from place to place. But I don't have to because I have my very own personal chauffeur. He's my DAD! Every morning he wakes me up, and when I am ready, Dad drives me to school. When school lets out, Dad picks me up and drives me home. What would I do without him? I simply don't know.
My dad is the dearest person to me, because he is always there, helps me with my homework, and chauffeurs me around. My dad is irreplaceable. Every Father's Day I smile at him just a little bit more. HE'S MY DAD!
