My Tower of Love

Brilliant, generous, spontaneous, and kind are a few words that describe my dad. Father's Day means showering him with love and bringing him breakfast in bed. It’s his special day! My dad is a man of great character. He is protective, honest, and generous.

My dad is like my bodyguard. He doesn't like when I go places without him, because he doesn't want anything to happen to his first-born. Sometimes he is over-protective, but he can't help it. That's what Dads do. He just does it because he loves me soooo MUCH!

Honesty, is one of my Dad's character traits. My father never lies. If he found a wallet with a million dollars in it, no matter how tempting it was for him to keep, he would try to find the owner. He'll always tell the truth, because he is the most truthful person ever!  That's NOT because he is a pastor.

Finally, my dad is generous. He likes to give not receive. My dad gives money to the homeless and the poor. Recently, at church, he put all the money from his wallet into the church offering, because he wanted to help the earthquake victims in Haiti!

Some kids are embarrased by their Dad, but not me. There isn't anything to be ashamed of. Dads just love you! My Dad is my tower of love, strength and security, so there is nothing I would rather do but to celebrate my Dad on Father's Day!
