PAIRS is an educational program. It is not intended as therapy or treatment, or to replace therapy or treatment. PAIRS programs, including web-content and interactive web-based applications, include a selection of educational, illuminating and often humorous experiences.

At times, some participants/users may experience highly charged emotions. The material presented by PAIRS Foundation online and in classes may involve such emotions as anger or sadness or desire. These experiences are included because it is part of the stated goals of PAIRS to expand options for understanding, pleasure and intimacy so that participants may develop their range of emotions in order to increase emotional and physical intimacy with their partner.

It is always the option of each individual to choose to participate in, or use, any of the exercises offered, or to choose not to participate or use.

The PAIRS Foundation assumes no liability for your participation in PAIRS activities or use of PAIRS exercises either in person or online.

As a participant or user, you acknowledge that your experience in PAIRS, in whole or in part, may engender new perceptions and a range of emotions that at times may include uncomfortable emotions. You understand that the exercises are designed to expand perceptions and to facilitate the development of a range of emotions including pleasure, joy, love, pain, fear and anger in behalf of an enhanced capacity for empathy and mutual understanding. At times, you may experience uncomfortable, as well as pleasurable, feelings.

Any use of PAIRS materials or exercises is voluntarily and by participating in PAIRS or accessing PAIRS materials online you agree to hold the PAIRS Foundation and any entity or individual involved in the delivery of the PAIRS programs in which you participate harmless against any claims related to your experience in the PAIRS program and/or activities.
